Ask about additional fees and expected gratuity, too. Then compare that price to the price of renting a truck and doing the work yourself. Don’t forget to calculate time in both equations, and leave room for unexpected costs. This comparison will give you a much better idea of whether or not it is worth your time to do all of the moving on your own, or whether it is wise to simply hire a moving company to assist you instead.
